Thanks to all the writers who entered our #YoungWritersFest - The quality of writing was extremely high. The decision was extremely tough but we are pleased to announce our winners (and their plays):
These writers will receive mentorship from playwrights Arinze Kene, Isley Alana Lynn, Lukey Barnez, Phoebe Eclair-Powell and Somalia Seaton alongside a masterclass with Rikki-Beadle Blair.
Their plays will then be performed alongside their mentors at the Lyric Hammersmith 8th and 9th April.

F.E.A.T.U.R.E. "..As much as I'm an adult now and my thoughts and behaviours have very much so been fashioned by my experiences; I am still at my core the same girl, young person, young woman that I've always been. I've always been this passionate. I've always been this hard working and I've always been this creative. Young people have more power and are more bold than society sometimes gives them credit for."

We are very excited to announce our first commercial showcase "Perfect"
Harts Theatre Company's Managing Director Ann Akin conducts a cast of young actors on their debut performance in this original, heartwarming tale of loss, community and survival.
When a sleeper train speeding through the Indian mountains crashes and sets fire, a group of children are left orphaned, and alone in the wild. Luckily, one boy, his sister, and an SAS guide teach the children how to sustain themselves and build a community in the bleak nothingness.
In the same mountain valley, a plane crashes and a group of holidaying teenagers are scattered across the land, and must find each other if they are to have a chance at escaping this strange and mysterious land.
Inspired by an original story written by one of our students, ‘Perfect’ is an electrifying and profound adventure navigating a pathway through disasters, power trips and the quest for perfection only to land in a place where the lesson is this: the only things that can save you are community, friendship and most important of all, the will to survive.
The Performance will be held on the 17 December 2015
